Our Marriage Dinner

We had 20 tables at Furama Hotel.

His Dad is working in Batam & seldom comes back to Singapore, I had to wait another month which was the 4th month of my pregnancy to wait for his dad to be back.. In the end, his father also didn't turn up to our wedding..

As a woman & pregnant, u could have gotten married when u were 3 months pregnant, (which wouldn't even show) or at 4 months which is the time u have started to gain weight?

His mum is VERY traditional & my family is very open.. whatever date we agreed on, the mother would say it casted out a person from the family, my mum was then kinda frustrated & said, 'this cheong that cheong, might as well dun get married'.. In the end, we decided on a date that 'Cheong' my mum which is Rat year..

'Remember' when she didn't even fork out a single cent!!

who gave us money to get married? Javen's brother's friend/colleague lent us 6k to book the hotel & take the wedding photos..

It was lucky that my total bill came out at 13k+ & my total angbao was 19k+.. so it definitely covered everything..

That's how I got married.

I didn't need to elaborate.. Just that incident will be able to say what kinda guy he is..

So, I taked it. I accepted it. Fate did it.

We got married more or less coz i was pregnant & I also came to a conclusion that he does love me.. And I really did love him too! for the sacrifices i've made & for those who know me, u guys noe best!

B4 we got married when i told him he had to let his mum know 1st, he called his mum on the hp coz he has always been staying with me & told her.. he passed the phone to me & u noe what the mum said after she told me about what i can't do during pregnancy? '你们要结婚我一分钱都不会出的，他哥哥结婚我也跟他将一样的东西’wtf?!!!

My Separation

Hi guys, i know many of u will want to know what's going on? why like tat? weren't u both doing well? Well, let me start from THE REAL START;





me & my husband got together when we both came out of prison, we both are changed peeps, we started hanging out with my good old brother allan & his girlfriend which is now his wife and divorced.. we were on tagging (Which means early release from prison & wearing something like a watch on your leg) like the photo.. allan is on the left & my husband (Javen Tan) on the right
My husband and I are kinda heavy drinkers.. we need to drink every night, but he tends to be VERY verbally abusive to me when he drinks..

I did a very wrong mistake was when we both were at a pub after work one day, b4 we got married and stuff, i was walking to the toilet & a group of guys just turned to look at me, not talk to me or anything like tat.. when i returned to my seat, he asked me if i knew who they were & i said no, he then asked me why they looked at me, i said i had no idea.. further on, when I was smoking outside, he played pool with one of them & guess wat? it became a quarrel & they all came outside to kinda 'fight'.. 5 of them were against him alone.. they fought & as a natural reaction of a woman, i pulled one of them back & said can you guys stop fighting.. Javen, stopped the fight & pulled me to a corner & shouted to my face RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE WHOLE OF BOAT QUAY, 'u fucking prostitute u like people to touch u arh'?

Booom!

That was it.

I walked away & let him continue his fucking fight.. but i called his friends to ask them to assist him..


The next day,

he called me NOT to apologise but explain his reactions as he didn't want me to get involved or hurt in the fight & that was the only thing he could have said to make me go..

HELLO~!!!!! I DESERVE BETTER THAN THAT!!!

I have an uncle which is my mum's oldest brother moved into their new place yesterday.. Just he and his wife, as he used to be living with his son & due to issues with daughter-mother-in-law (as usual), they bought their own 3NG HDB flat in Bedok.. 3NG normally refers to units with attached master-room toilet.. Corner units which also have toilets are normally bigger and they are referred to as 3A unit.. They actually spent 50K on renovations!!

Its sad that children aren't able to get along with the old nowadays but for my instance I feel its becoz of how the world has actually grown & some of the elderly hasn't really changed like how the world changes.. Difficult to understand? Aiyah, just means their way of thinking is History! lolx of coz i'm not referring to all, like mother-in-laws like my mum is so open-minded.. we can drink, smoke, club together.. which is definitely a better way of getting to know your child & their group of friends better.. if you know your child is slighty wilder than others.. come on, just let go a little.. as how my situation was when I was young, my dad used to be very strict, during secondary school days, i had to be home after school by 3pm, i could only go out on 1 weekend & had to be back by 7pm.. my friends were all going to Canto for tea dance & stuff & i had to be back by 7pm!! i didn't get to go though & when i came back late, i got whacked! belt, cane, wooden ruler was the usual tools.. once, i was slapped infront of my friend & my father's friend without even listening to any explanation.. i hated him. seriously..

so, ever since my mum left him, it was the time of my total freedom & that was where i really lost it.. i came back really late, i got into drugs & it took me twice to get caught and ultimately change.. i lost 3 years of my youth to prison..

My precious princess is now coming 14 months! Hectic sia!

Its been 1year and 1month since i've blogged.. lolx! having a great time now.. great friends, great family & don't need to think too much on my career as my husband has been quite responsible with finances & stuff.. he just got he's commission & he gave half of it to me & another quarter to my mum.. very decisive ya? am i lucky or what? rofl!

Tasha has been such a darling, but she's really spoilt & loves to pretend to cry when she doesn't get what she wants.. Look at her on the left <---------- it was taken on her birthday.. she imitates really fast like one incident was that she loves to take my mum's alarm clock so my mum said, aiyah can u stop taking the alarm clock, guess what? she put back the alarm clock & mumbled 'ai..yah..'! my mum got a shock! she can say simple words like, shoes, juice, ball ball, mama, dada & please..

Thought of bringing her for a swim but it looks like its gonna rain.. she loves water too! And she doesn't cry when she goes for a haircut.. but she's REALLY active.. she can't sit still in the car or even at home.. seems like her butt is on fire!

I've learned alot from her.. I've learned how to be patient not only with her but with people around me, she has taught me about responsibility, she also taught me alot on affection & love.. Its so amazing how a child could really change me like that.. She's just so precious, even when i have to leave her at home just for a few hours with my full time helper, i start thinking about her and think if my maid abuses her or anything else.. I haven't even gone for pedicure for around 2months! which i normally do every fortnight!

First Few Days Of Baby Tasha

the 1st nite of bringing baby tasha back was horrible.. i didn't expect that it might be that hard.. she woke up the 1st time at nite around 1am, i gave her milk & she went back to sleep & woke up at 3am.. i gave her milk again & she went back to sleep & woke up at 4am, 5am, 6am & 7am! i had a part time maid who had experience to stay with me for the 1st week but i didn't want to wake joanne, as its my child & i had to deal with it.. she didn't sleep all the way till around 10am, when joanne woke up & i passed tasha to her while i got some rest.. till now, she still wakes up on an average of 2-3 hours everynight & day so can u imagine wat kind of rest i'm having.. joanne now comes in the morning at 9+ & leaves around 7pm.. but she has to do the housework too & i won't get rest till she finishes her work & helps me out with the baby..

sometimes i regret having this baby & not concentrating on my career 1st and settle down only till later but this baby is so beautiful that i juz give up all negative thoughts.. i'm now helping my mum work from home & i told my mum to start giving me a salary only when she starts making her money.. i hope i can go back to work when tasha is 1 year old.. my poor hubby has started on his career & he works all the way till 10 or 11pm then reach home & he seldom has an off day as the property market is quite bad now & if he doesn't work hard, he won't get the deals.. he even has to travel everyday to and fro as he's office is in Jurong & we're staying in East Coast.. poor thing rite? i see the changes in him & how much he's willing to sacrifice for this family.. dear, u really grow up liao! lolz! he hasn't even been out for a drink for a long time.. guess i'm quite lucky as he's not the fool-around-kind of hubby..

after my delivery i even drove out on the 3rd day to bring my dog to bath.. my stitches are getting better now & i still fetch my mum back from work on most of the days.. i ordered food from http://www.confinementfood.com/ for 2 weeks (only lunch) as i dun have a confinement nanny & didn't have much 'bu' to take.. but the food was really boring as most of the days, i'll be eating liver or pork ribs.. it cost $380!

i've lost a total of 8kg now & i hope to lose another 6kg by next week? coz its tasha's full month.. i'm around 48kg now.. still fat sia.. i still can't wear most of my pants & i'm wearing my mum's shorts.. i even had a sudden outbreak of pimples & i went to Fancl yesterday to get a pimple cream & supplements for acne.. i've been drinking lots of water too & i need to go to the toilet now & tasha woke up too.. to be continued..

The Birth of Baby Tasha

sorry 4 not blogging 4 a long time.. really si bei shack! me & hubby have decided 1 kid is enough.. i dun tink i'll be able to go through everything again..

actually my estimated delivery date was suppose to be on the 17th april 09.. but i gave birth 2 weeks early, on the 3rd april 09 to a beautiful princess Tasha Ash Tan (陈莠茹）.. i wanted to call her Lauren Ash Tan but i think it sounded too old for her..

i gave birth early becoz when i went for my check up, doctor said my cervix was already 4-5cm dilated.. & i had to induce labour.. (i was dilated & i didn't even know) so i checked in to Eastshore Hospital on the 3rd apr at 9.30am & was induced so my contractions came at about 10.30am & Tasha came out at 1.03pm.. fast rite? lol! when i first saw her i was thinking 'is this my daughter?' she doesn't look like me at all! she look exactly like hubby.. but i tell u the pain is something that u will never experience if u aren't a mum.. and i did natural without epidural coz when i wanted the epidural, it was too late.. little Tasha was born at 3060gms (3kg).. fat rite?

in the middle of the 2 nights, i cried.. guess i was homesick & missed my hubby & mum.. suddenly couldn't take all the good things that was happening to me.. lucky my hubby came early in the morning at 10am & stayed with me till 10pm.. poor him.. more updates lata.. chao!

My Wedding

As many know already i got married last month on the 7th Nov 2008. Thanks to my beautiful sistas & javen's handsome brothers.. On that day I was kinda pissed as Javen came to pick me up late & drunk as he had not slept a wink.. Wah lau! my wedding day leh "ah hiah".. kaoz! anyways, i kept my composure (as usual) & when we arrived at his home, we had to wait first for the tea ceremony timing & so we went down for a puff & the photographer also told us to take some outside shots & as usual Javen & his brothers disappeared in action & i had to call him to get him to come back to get some photographs taken but through it all, my sistas & i were happily taking our own pictures.. Before that at my home, my sistas also didn't get to 'te kan' him too much as they were all trying to cheat their way out of the "forfeits"..

In the night, our wedding banquet was held at Furama RiverFront Singapore for 20 tables of guests.. We did have a wonderful time though & the food was commented as good.. We also had a nights stay at the bridal suite & my helpers also have a adjoining room next to us.. Well these are some of the wedding photos i like alot..

New life, New hopes

To those who still don't know, yeah yeah, i'm getting married in 2 days time.. Everything has been quite a rush.. As we only started preparing for marriage in September.. Yesterday was my birthday & went out with my husband-to-be, mum, brother & doggie to East Coast for a seafood dinner & drinks.. Nice environment, super relax place called "Beach Cabana"..

Husband-to-be has gone home today & coz of the usual chinese tradition we aren't suppose to see each other for the whole day 1 day before the wedding.. And i guess as usual he's with his brother at a coffee shop drinking.. I really really pray that he'll quit drinking after our wedding as he mentioned.. Its becoming a problem as he gets easily agitated/temperamental when he's drunk.. and the worst is when he starts drinking, he doesn't want to stop till late.. there's been a few times where he drank till morning, when the sun was up then he came home.. haizz...

Especially now when i'm pregnant at 4 months, i get sensitive at times too.. and i didn't sleep till morning when he came back.. its lucky that i don't have morning sickness if not i'll even dislike going out.. i try to walk alot now as they believe that it'll be easier to give birth.. AND ITS A GIRL!! i actually preferred a boy, but well well, i've seen that little girls are easier to take care of.. pray for a pretty little one..

This are pictures of my Hen's night that was on 1st Nov 2008.. We went to Loof @ Odean Towers at first, but was a totally very wrong place for us and it made us all sleepy.. So we dropped by at Dragonfly, but i sat upstairs at Mono coz i prefer singing and coz i'm pregnant its more appropriate too.. This are those that came ....

Thanks to my girls who came.. Love ya guys! hopefully even after i get married & give birth, we'll still have our regular get togethers ya?

Stupid ah girl can't be at my wedding but still congrats to ah girl, ar-ju & kylie ya? lol!

We are the 3 musketeers & hopefully our little 3 girls will be as close as us too! Waiting for friday to arrive.. Dear, warn your brothers that my sisters won't let them off easily hor!!
